Brazilian International Robinho’s agent has claimed that Chelsea have offered La Liga Champions Real Madrid £31.75million (€40m) to bring the winger to Stamford Bridge.
Robinho has been linked with a move to the Blues all summer, with new Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari already stating his desire to prise the Brazilian away from the Bernabeu.
Robinho’s agent Wagner Ribeiro has revealed that Barcelona have made an approach for his client and that he told them about the offer made by Chelsea. However, he also believes that it will be difficult to secure a move to either Stamford Bridge or the Nou Camp.
He told Onda FM: “A director from Barca called me to see how things are going. I told him that there was a firm offer from Chelsea for 40m euros (£31.75m).”
