Ujfalusi: Sergio Aguero wants to join Real Madrid

Argentine's team-mate has stated that the player has his sights set on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu giants

Tomas Ujfalusi has revealed to the Spanish media that Atletico Madrid team-mate Sergio Aguero wants to sign for Real Madrid next season.

The Argentinian frontman announced on his official website his intention to leave the Vicente Calderon, while the player also requested that the club respect his wish to further his career.

The Czech defender has stated that this is due to a desire from Aguero to move across the Spanish capital, telling Radio Sportiva. "For three or four months we [have] known he wanted to go. What is clear is [that] he has chosen to [go to] Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old has been at Atleti since joining from Independiente in 2006 and is the club's top scorer this season with 26 goals in all competitions.

'Kun' has been linked with moves to some of Europe's top clubs including Chelsea, Inter and Juventus, but Ujfalusi is certain that a move to the Santiago Bernabeu is imminent, and added that he is unsure as to what the fan response will be to such a transfer.

"We do not know how fans will react, because there is a great rivalry. It will be a difficult decision for him," he concluded.

Mesut Özil:"We will be better than Barcelona"

German international Mesut Ozil has claimed that Real Madrid will be stronger than Barcelona next season.

The capital giants finished four points behind Barca in the race for La Liga, and were also elminated from the Champions League at the hands of their rivals.

Speaking with Marca, however, Ozil claimed that Madrid have the capability to topple the Catalans next year, stating: "Barcelona have been playing together for several years, but next season we will be stronger than them. I am convinced we will win more than one title."

The 22-year-old, signed from Werder Bremen in 2010, is satisfied with life in La Liga, and praised coach Jose Mourinho for his role in helping to assist his integration into the team.

"At no time did I regret my decision, I really appreciate my participation for this club," Ozil said.

"He [Mourinho] is someone who talks a lot with great players, especially young people. He is not just the coach but also a friend."

Iker Casillas:"Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best players in the world"

Iker Casillas attended a publicity event on Monday afternoon, during which he hit on two main points of interests: Cristiano Ronaldo's scoring record and UEFA's dismissal of the report concerning racial abuse by Sergio Busquets.

Cristiano Ronaldo:
"He is a decisive and influential player. Very few are capable of putting up the numbers he has. Only three players have ever done it, which speaks of the talent he possesses. There are no more team titles that we can win this year, but we can help him win an individual award. We feel it is important for him to win an award when he is so deserving of it. He is one of the best players in the world."

UEFA:(Sergio Busquets)
"If UEFA made the decision not to punish Busquets, they must know what they saw and what happened. Everyone saw it. There is no alternative."

Spanish national team:
"It was an intense 19 days with four matches that both clubs wanted to win. Anything that happened is in the past. Each team did what was in its best interest. It is normal that there be tense moments. It would be terrible if the players stopped getting along after accomplishing what we did. When we are playing together for La Roja we have the interests of all Spaniards in mind."

Champions League final:
"I hope it is football that comes out as the big winner and that fans are well-behaved and respectful of one another. The two teams have earned the right to play in the final for one reason or another."

Cristiano Ronaldo interview after Barcelona match Champions League 03 may 2011

"This was Mission Impossible IV," Ronaldo told reporters after the match.

“We knew that this was going to happen. We're used to living with these things. They took away our chance to reach the final in the first-leg at the Bernabeu. Here, no, here it was just the same thing.

"There are lots of things together. What happened at the Bernabeu, what happened today, these are things to think about. Barcelona have a great team but there's something behind it. It was hard to play with 10-men after our red card against Barcelona, and it was hard to play with the goal disallowed today.

"[Gerard] Pique touched me and I fell on to [Javier] Mascherano. He wasn't like this at Liverpool: he learned the cheats of Barcelona.

"The dressing room is extremely sad," Ronaldo added. "It's very difficult to play with these setbacks."
