"Manchester [City] are not my problem, they will be a problem for Chelsea for Arsenal for Manchester [United]," he quipped.

"I must focus on fights with Barcelona. It's very important that we focus on what is needed, Madrid have bought expensive players and we have to win the league."

The superstar believes that the players that have been brought in this summer have improved an already good side at Real, which must now justify the money that has been spent.

"Madrid before, were full of good players, but the new players have to show they have been brought in for a reason. We have to win the league," he added.

The 24-year-old believes that the squad most show maturity and make head coach Manuel Pellegrini's job as easy as possible.Cristiano Ronaldo Press Conference Real Madrid

"Keeping the squad happy is a hard job for the club, to pick eleven players from all the great players is not easy. But it is a good group and I am happy to be there," he explained.

"My first impression of the players is very good, I'm very happy to be here and be part of the team and I'm very motivated. Any comments about a bad dynamic in Real Madrid are not true.

Finally the world Player of the Year revealed it had been tough to leave Manchester United but that he was looking forward to the challenges ahead of him, concluding, "Both teams are very good and have very good players. I made good friends in Manchester and it wasn't easy to leave, but life is a challenge, I am a challenge man, I think it is good move for me."
