Zidane : "Ribery was born to play for Real Madrid"


In the second part of a three-part interview with Marca, Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane has commented on a variety of issues, including Kaka, Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery, and Raul.

Zizou first analysed Kaka's situation, believing that the Brazilian will be a great success in the Spanish capital, declaring: "I do not have any doubt about Kaka."

Reportedly one of the most important links tying Bayern Munich superstar Franck Ribery to a potential move to Los Blancos, Zidane made it clear where he believes the Frenchman should seek employment. "Ribery was born to play at Real Madrid," said the French legend about his compatriot. As for Benzema, who is having some difficulty adjusting to La Liga, Zidane praised the striker: "He has talent, but he needs do what Madrid demands of him."

As for Raul, Zidane praised his former team-mate. "Raul is an example. His attitude is phenomenal."

Finally, Zidane's was asked to comment on Manuel Pellegrini's job as Madrid coach. "Personally, I do not know him very well. But I would maintain him as coach," said the Frenchman.

Ribery made a decision



Franck Ribery wants to leave Bayern Munich and join Real Madrid, sports daily L'Equipe quoted the France midfielder as saying on Thursday.
Ribery's compatriot Karim Benzema has already agreed to join the Spanish side from Olympique Lyon and become Real's third major signing after Brazil's Kaka and Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I have made up my mind, I want to leave," Ribery told Thursday's issue of L'Equipe. "It will be Real (Madrid) or nothing.
Bayern officials have repeatedly said the 26-year-old Ribery, who joined them in 2007 from Olympique Marseille, was not for sale.
